MaAOHN Welcomes our new  President, Donna C. Ferreira ANP, MS, COHN-S/CM, FAAOHN!

Donna Ferreira  

Donna is the Director, Clinical Operations at Premise Health serving Raytheon Technologies.

She has over 34 years of experience in occupational health with roles as Director of Clinical Operations at Premise Health, board certifications in occupational health nursing, case management, hearing conservation, and adult nurse practitioner. 

Donna has presented at 59 international, national, and local conferences.

She served as an officer or on the Board of MaAOHN for eight years as past Vice President and Director representing Central Mass and as Central MA past President and Vice President.

Donna’s Believes: Occupational Health Nurses (OHN) provide health expertise to companies and their employees, which results in higher productivity, improved morale, and company compliance with state and federal regulations.  This very important role was put to the test and in the spotlight during the pandemic. I believe it was, and is, our time to shine.  As President of the MaAOHN, I want to showcase the occupational health nurse role with increased communication to companies, the public, the media, and undergraduate nursing schools to promote and strengthen our field.  I believe we can embrace and engage our individual members, increase membership, and celebrate our comradery, professionalism, and combined expertise.  I am excited to lead with positivity, energy, and mutual respect to give my best and bring out the best from our team.  We can be proud of our impact to workers’ health.
