Diane’s steadfast commitment to serve our organization, highlighted by her dedication and support of state and regional chapters are consistent with this very special acknowledgment.

Diane’s professional responsibilities include employee injury and illness administration, leader of the 100-member First Aid Responder teams, as well as a trainer for CPR/AED, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens. In the areas of occupational health and wellness, Diane administers the hearing conservation and monitoring program, serves as the health resource for local and retail employees nation-wide. She is an active participant of the Safety Team reviewing all incidents, determining root cause, recommends injury reduction strategies, and is a member of the Safety Team’s audit program. Her successful audit efforts are recognized in all Yankee Candle Occupational Health sections.
Prior to Yankee Candle Company, Diane worked 14 years as charge nurse in an Ambulatory Medical Center treating the general public, and contracted companies for illness and injuries management. Her first Occupational Health role was a per diem nurse with Occupational Health Connections. Diane would like to acknowledge Nancy Clover (President, Occupational Health Connections) and Joyce Harsch (past MaAOHN President) as mentors, and valued resources in her Occupational Health Nursing career.
