- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. - Position requires a Valid/Current license to practice as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. - BLS required. - Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. - ACLS preferred. Comprehensive psychiatry services Inpatient, outpatient, and partial programs Salem Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, offers inpatient and outpatient services for adults and adolescents over 16, including an adult partial hospital program, ECT therapy and neuropsychological assessment. Our child psychiatry services include an adolescent partial hospital program, inpatient, neuropsychological assessment, and outpatient therapy and family support. We also have a dedicated psychiatry program for older adults. We work closely with Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Child & Adolescent Psychiatry: Salem Hospital offers a safe haven for children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, psychiatric disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, and other behavioral problems. We provide outpatient psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services, a partial hospital program for adolescents, and an inpatient program for children ages 3 - 17. I npatient services are provided on a dedicated pediatric floor in our new Epstein Center for Behavioral Health. Adult Psychiatry: Salem Hospital provides comprehensive psychiatric services for adult patients ages 16 and older. Inpatient services for adult patients are provided on two dedicated floors in the Epstein Center for Behavioral Health (60 beds). We have an adult partial hospital program as well as outpatient mental health services for adults. Senior Psychiatry: Salem Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, offers comprehensive care for older patients who are experiencing acute psychiatric disorders, especially those complicated by medical or neurological problems (including patients in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease). Our adult and geriatric psychiatry specialists work with psychologists, social workers, mental health assistants, psychiatric nurses, dietitians, and occupational and physical therapists to provide the newest approved treatments.
