Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Rapid Response for a nursing job in Swampscott, Massachusetts.

Required: - BLS and ACLS certification is required at the time of hire. - Requires intense attention and concentration. Good visual, hearing skills, analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to effectively interact with the multidisciplinary team with a wide range of personality types, ages and diverse cultural backgrounds in a rapidly changing environment in a professional, respectful manner. - Excellent Communication skill (verbal and written) is required in order to lead and teach. - Ability to interact effectively with others in difficult situations and to coordinate and effectively delegate team activities. - Exceptional critical thinking skills; ability to concentrate in intense situations. - Two years of critical care experience OR emergency room experience in an academic medical center. - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing - Requires a Current RN License in the State of Massachusetts, BLS, ACLS Preferred: - BSN or MSN - CCRN certification strongly preferred or obtained within 6-months of employment. - NIHSS certification strongly preferred or obtained within 6-months of employment. The STAT Registered Nurse ensures that the adult patient care is coordinated, integrated and evaluated consistent with policies, procedures and standards of care at NSM C. The STAT Registered Nurse assumes the responsibility for the plan of care and has the authority to make decisions and is held accountable for decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the plan. The STAT Registered Nurse is a highly specialized RN who provides support and direct patient care to a variety of inpatient units and functions acrossunits during peak periods of activity providing episodic nursing care to promote patient flow.
