Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology/Hematology - Infusion New

Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with current Massachusetts license and current BLS certification. Current or past Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN, AOCN, CPON) or currently working towards acquiring OCN certification strongly preferred. Five years of infusion RN experience in a medical oncology and hematology department required. Outpatient experience preferred. Proficient IV skills required. Provide direct patient care to oncology and hematology patients in the infusion setting including, but not limited to, the initial nursing evaluation, development and ongoing implementation of care plan, education and counseling of patients and families. The position requires excellent communication skills and collaboration with physicians, co-workers and all internal & external departments and agencies involved to optimize patient care.
