Position Description

Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last three years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a Pediatric Palliative and Hospice Nurse to join its expanding clinical team. Travel is required for this position. Care is provided in patient’s private homes and residential fac ilities throu ghout Greater Boston and parts of Metrowest.

Job Responsibilities

The Pedi Pal Hospice Nurse participates as a member of the Good Shepherd Pedi Pal interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans (POTs) for all patients, including visit frequencies and interventions/goals based on patient acuity and needs. This is a 40 hours position

Schedule And Weekly Hours

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Education, Skills And Experience

  • Registered nurse, licensed in Massachusetts
  • Extensive pediatric experience and a minimum of one year experience in community health, pediatric palliative care, oncology or related field.

Pay Range

$74,000-$94,000: This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the starting range.
