In this virtual webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the autism spectrum disorder and how to work with students who have autism. The presentation will cover topics including social communication deficits, restrictive, repetitive behaviors, and medications that may be used for children with
autism, ADHD and anxiety. 

Learning Objectives

This session will allow participants to:
Review how to control variables in the nurse’s office that will lead to a positive experience for the student with autism.
Be aware of the range of symptoms, abilities and behaviors that may be encountered while working with children and adolescents who have autism.
